The 1430 Club
Special Operations is a brotherhood. When things go awry on a mission, the Dagger Team has to decide if they just follow orders, or do they go above and beyond the call of duty for one of their own. Through the hazardous streets of Baghdad, and the often more dangerous halls of Headquarters in the Green Zone, they operate as a team navigating their way through the political and insurgent roadblocks, to seek justice for a comrade.
Author Bio
D.W. Wilber is a law enforcement and intelligence professional of nearly forty years of experience who has written three books, In the Shadow of the Swords, The Baghdad Police Academy, a biography of his time in Iraq working alongside other American law enforcement professionals bringing Western policing training and methods to Iraq following the fall of Saddam Hussein, and his newest book, a novel, The 1430 Club based on his experience as an intelligence officer working closely with elements of the U.S. Special Operations community in Iraq. Wilber has also written, illustrated, and self-published a children’s book, Marshal Ned Bosco and the Outlaw Texas Red, a bedtime story for fathers and sons.
Wilber has also been a regular contributing columnist for Townhall.com, American Out Loud, and Proud American Studios where he has opined on a variety of national security topics. He also has served as a guest on a number of nationally syndicated talk radio programs as an expert on terrorism and other subjects of concern to Americans.
Wilber has appeared on ‘The Hero Next Door’, ‘The Forum’, ‘The Heavy’, and hosted ‘The Red Threat’ podcasts on the Proud American Studios streaming platform.
